It’s one of my favorite times of year again down in Disneyland! (I mean they all are pretty magical) But this time of year adds a little extra dark magic because all the Villains come out to play! We were so excited when Disney invited us to celebrate the opening night of the Oogie Boogie Bash with them, now in California Adventure. This special after hours party is only available on select nights from September 17th through October 29th and it is currently sold out! Be aware that you need a separate ticket for DCA to get into this and DCA closes to guests at 6pm. If you were one of the lucky ones to snag a ticket, I hope you enjoy our Oogie Boogie Bash Guide!
Mickey’s Trick or Treat– You can join Mickey and Pals for a special trick or treat themed dance party with a not so scary story, followed by lots of treats. The special event is located at the Disney Junior theater. Our kids loved it and it is perfect if you have little ones around preschool age. It happens at 6:25 pm, 7:10 pm, 7:55 pm, 9:25 pm and 10:15 pm.
DescenDance– You can head to the back lot of Hollywood land for the most epic dance party. This great villainess cast to the theme of Descendants, leads a wicked dance party that the whole family can enjoy. This happens at 6:15 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:45 pm, 9:45 pm, and 10:30 pm.
Frightfully Fun Parade– From the headless Horseman to the haunted mansion dancers, be sure to get your spot by the pier to check out this frightfully fun parade! Our girls love seeing their favorite villains parade down the street. The Headless Horseman rides at 8pm and the parade begins at 8:10. We watched it beside the pier so that we could hold our spots for the 9pm showing of the World of Color!
Villainous “World of Color”– At the Paradise Pier be sure to watch the Spooktacular world of color show. It is showcasing that there is a villain inside all of us. The kids loved the special effects, the fun music, and light show! Showtimes are at 9pm and 1045pm.
Treat Trails– A Halloween themed night couldn’t be complete without a trip down the treat trails. Watch out for some tricks that may be cast by the villains along the way!
Villians Grove– Mirror, Mirror on the wall (what is the longest line? ) The longest line of them all was for Villans Grove. Be sure to catch it early to check out this dream like Realms of Disney villains!
Of course don’t forget your costumes for this epic party and to try all the delicious treats! Be sure to check out the rules and regulations on the Disney Blogs site for the costume rules before going! We hope you enjoyed a peek at our Oogie Boogie Bash Guide!
